00:07:48 Someone said Hulkenberg. But he's been having
an all right season. It's been going pretty well for him. I think he's someone that settled in with Haas really well. The team seemed to like him, Guenther loves him. He's enjoying being back on the grid. So I'd be quite surprised if after a year when he's had, what three years out, if he'll now decide to want to retire.
:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::00:17:51 And for those of you that didn't say it was going to be Perez. You guys either think it's going to be Tsunoda or Ricciardo. I could see either of those happening. Yuki, like I said, has had a pretty strong season so far in terms of consistency. I think he's grown a lot as a driver over the past three years that he's been in F1. So I could see Red Bull potentially pulling him up and it also then frees a seat in AlphaTauri for them to bring in another rookie.
:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::00:23:52 Moving on to McLaren. Yep. Vast majority of you think Lando and Oscar will be sticking around. Look, I think a lot of people in the media thought, Oscar Piastri was going to set the grid alight when he joined F1. But the McLaren is not the best car right now .But what he has managed to do in that car has been pretty good for a rookie. So I don't think he is going to want to leave, especially considering all the drama that surrounded him joining McLaren.
:: :: :: ::00:25:30 Now Pietro Fittipaldi is the reserve driver for Haas and he has been for a couple of years now. He's got a pretty good relationship with both Guenther and the entire team. He has stepped in for drivers when he's needed to. But I think if he was going to take that seat, it would have been when Mick had left the team. I don't think realistically, he's going to be a full-time F1 driver with them. His brother is then Enzo Fittipaldi and i don't think for a multitude of reasons he'll end up taking that seat and the main reason for that though is because he is a Red Bull junior driver in F2. And I think Red Bull liked to keep their drivers within their own pool. So I don't know whether they would want him to drive for Haas, which is powered by a Ferrari engine.
:: :: :: ::00:27:39 Going on to Alfa Romeo there were a few of you that agree with me and that we're going to get the same line up to there. Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. I don't see that being any difference there personally..
:: :: ::00:28:54 So I don't see that being any difference, at least not yet. I think as time goes on and Audi take over more and more of Alfa Romeo Sauber, we will see changes to the lineup. Potentially. They might be quite happy with Zhou and Bottas right now. But I think as it stands, they're not going to want to change that line up just yet.
::00:29:40 Realistically, I don't think AlphaTauri will drop Yuki Tsunoda. I think we'll have an entire rehaul if Yuki ends up moving to that Red Bull seat then I could see yeah Lawson and Iwasa aking over those two seats. Otherwise, I think I agree with the people that say in that we're gonna have Yuki Tsunoda and liam Lawson in the seats for 2024, because yeah, like I said, I don't see Sergio Perez leaving his seat and Red Bull, which means I don't think Yuki's going to be leaving AlphaTauri, which will only leave one seat.
:: :: ::00:31:09 One of you thinks that Alex will leave, but we'll get Logan and Mick together. And then someone else thinks we're going to get Franco Colapinto and someone else. So I'm assuming a rehaul of the team. That I don't think will happen.
:: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::00:35:37 Thank you guys so much and diolch yn fawr for listening. Make sure you come back next week for when I have a chat about the Canadian Grand Prix. And i'll see you guys the next time you're summoned to The Steward's Office.
